Cloud Accountancy - Making Tax Digital

In 2018, even with HMRC’s Making Tax Digital on the horizon for VAT registered businesses from April 2019, SME’s that aren’t already on the cloud are missing out. There is a digital revolution going on, moving almost every aspect of your business online. You will have probably noticed similar developments as banks withdraw cheque books and, along with the Post Office, increasingly close branches and offer fewer “walk-in” services.

We are an award winning, forward thinking Cloud Accountancy practice based in Northamptonshire and we see this as an opportunity for businesses to get ahead and take advantage of all that cloud technology has to offer.

Don’t just take our word for it, click on the video to see what global brand Xero have to say...

What exactly is "Cloud Accounting"

Elsby & Co Your Cloud Accountant

In the simplest terms, cloud accounting means sorting and accessing data across a secure internet, instead of using your desktop computers local storage. A cloud accounting package with allow you to manage your business whilst on the move, giving you control via your mobile device, which could be a smart phone, iPad or desktop.

The system is designed to save you time, whilst providing you with data presented in a way that makes sense. No more biscuit tins of receipts and unwieldy spreadsheets.

What can we do for you?

We don’t restrict ourselves to just one Cloud Accounting package, though Xero is our preferred option. We start with the conversion of your financial systems and build from there.

Our services just don’t stop at the cloud though, we work with you in the following months and years to tailor the system to your needs and ensure that all your “app” add-ons and integrations work for you in the most efficient way possible.

We are running a series of workshops aimed at helping you, whatever stage you are at on your digital journey, see below for details. The cost of the workshops is a £10 donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
