April 2019 will see all UK VAT registered businesses and landlords having to register for Making Tax Digital and file quarterly headline figures to HMRC via HMRC approved software. VAT registered businesses will be used to quarterly reporting, but many small business owners will have burnt the midnight oil on a quarterly basis, submitting their VAT figures via the HMRC government gateway.
The government gateway website will disappear, and you will have to submit using your HMRC approved software. This is an excellent opportunity to get ahead and take advantage of all that “The Cloud” has to offer businesses these days, whilst meeting your obligations to the tax man.
Getting onto “The Cloud” does not have to be a burden, indeed, you will get a better customer experience with efficiencies in processing your receipts saving you time in the process.
We are the converted, and have staff ready and able to help you. If you would like to find out more, please register below for one of our workshops below:
The lunchtime workshop will run from 12.15 to 2pm, the cost being £10 with all proceeds being donated to our Macmillan campaign. Please reserve your place below to avoid disappointment.
