Elsby & Co are proud to fundraise for a range of local, national and international charities, as well as supporting various charitable events throughout the year.

This year's charity are A-Sisterhood and Cynthia Spencer Hospice

A-Sisterhood is a charity started by Carl Elsby. It is a UK based organisation which seeks to empower, support and protect women worldwide. The charity supports a series of international causes such as “Stop Acid Attacks” and “The Black Mambas”, South Africa’s first all-female anti-poaching unit.

Locally, the charity ran a very successful ladies lunch in November 2018, raising £5247, in conjunction with Anstee & Co (Financial Designers) and Wilson Browne (Solicitors). The charities supported were Crazy Hats £1749, Red Box Projects £1749, Stop Acid Attacks £874 and the Northampton Domestic Abuse Service £874 essentially because the NDAS have had their funding cut by £1m which has meant that the refuges are in danger of being withdrawn.

Cynthia Spencer

Cynthia Spencer Hospice is a well known local charity and also a client. The charity provides inpatient and outpatient support to those in palliative care. This year the Hospice needs to raise £1,060,000. That’s £3,000 per day to continue all the services that Cynthia Spencer Hospice currently provides in Northampton and across Northamptonshire and continue to improve. We plan to join in on their events, such as the ”5k Colour Run” in May and have set up a just giving page to enable us to fundraise:

Christmas 2016 Shoe box campaign

Christmas is about giving something back to those less fortunate than ourselves. The past couple of years we have made donations to a local Northampton charity instead of handing out Christmas cards. This year, we wanted to give people a chance to physically donate something to a worthy cause and where the gifts donated will really make a difference to their Christmas. Read more...
