Supporting local Businesses

Elsby & Co work with a wide range of businesses in the local area, sharing their skills and expertise, supporting events and referring local businesses.

In January 2019, Clare Elsby was elected as Area Lead for the Federation of Small Businesses, representing FSB members in Northamptonshire, Rutland and Leicestershire. Clare has been actively involved in campaigning on local and national issues, working with MP’s to bring in measures to improve the situation for self employed and small business owners. Clare has campaigned on issues such as rises in car parking charges in Northampton Town Centre, and represented FSB members affected by the Network Rail electrification of the east midlands main line. Clare has also been appointed to the SEMLEP Growth Hub Board and is a voice for small businesses where government funding is required.

Clare is a regular voice on local BBC Radio Northampton, ensuring that the needs of small businesses are heard across the county and beyond.
