This was a client who phoned us to request that we send Accounts to a property agent to support their application for a new lease. Of course we did this promptly but here at Elsby's we like to go the extra mile! We always look for ways of helping our client. We delved a little and it sounded like the deal being offered was a little on the high side.
So, we liaised with some local contacts and introduced our client to another property agent who is hoping to negotiate a reduction in the annual lease of approx £10,000 p/a plus further incentives. For a 5 year lease this could be a saving of over £50k for our client. And also... please note the presence of the word "again" in our client's quote.
